What Was The Issue?
Our client, an established manufacturer with a turnover of £6m were experiencing difficulties, including decreasing revenues, loss of staff as a result of a poor company culture and inefficient operational procedures. The Bank had given them 3 months to reverse their company fortunes. Although foreclosure had not been threatened, our client knew that they had to implement significant change.
What Was The Solution?
The Solution
Incisive Edge was engaged to carry out an immediate diagnostic which identified a serious lack of process and procedure particularly with regard to sales. A lack of a cohesive sales strategy, pipeline, KPIs or management had resulted in a lack-lustre sales team who felt that the management no longer cared about them or the company. Incisive Edge put formal processes in place and kick-started the process with a team building day followed by regular team events. Board meetings became focused, structured and centred around achieving the KPIs through development of the key team members.
And The Outcome…
Turnover has increased to £7.5m and our client was asked by their Bank Manager to address an internal seminar on ’stopping the rot’.
