How mastermind groups can increase your revenues
In the early 1900´s Napoleon Hill wrote in his ground breaking book on the subject “Think and Grow Rich” that the principal of MasterMinding is:
“The coordination of knowledge and effort of two or more people, who work toward a definite purpose, in the spirit of harmony”. He explains that “No two minds ever come together without thereby creating a third, invisible intangible force, which may be likened to a third mind.”
Noble sounding in theory perhaps? In reality the group takes on a life of its own, setting its own agenda, regulating itself, providing feedback to all members and acting as an invaluable support network. As in most things in life you will get out of the group what you put in. Every member is expected to contribute; shared experience at every level is equally valuable and will build the richness of the group! The group acts as a confidential sounding board, providing business insights and shared best practice.
MasterMind groups are founded in mutual respect, understanding, acceptance and compassion. They can provide a safe environment for the challenging and testing of new business growth ideas and through brainstorming and fresh perspective can help to grow your business to new levels.
It is important to define what you want from a MasterMinding group in advance. Commitment and energy will add to the group from all levels but it is also important to understand your strengths and weaknesses and be open with other members regarding your challenges and issues in a business growth context. As with the old mantra it really can be a case of “Together we are stronger…”!
